'It was great!'
'It was fantastic!'
'I'll do it again!'
'I met some interesting people'
'I'll do it again for sure¨'
'the most fun I've ever had at a workshop!'
Who said all this?
Me!!!
Did I have to play alone?
No!

No!
We really did have a lot of fun. we even drank wine!
when I'd finished my job (the hand analysis part)
I spent the rest of the evening trying to paint an ear.
why an ear?
it started of as a self portrait but then I decided
ears really fascinate me at the moment
probably because I need to learn to listen more?
then I tried to get too clever and make an ear that
was also a face. I ended up with a big picasso-like
nose and eye ball growing out of my ear.
I was quite proud of it until Marianne (one of our participants)
came along and asked me if I was trying to paint a
nose or an ear. I said 'ear'. she said nothing.
I got the message.
This was actually a massive message.
why?
maybe I just painted my problem in real life!
sticking my nose everywhere where it doesn't belong
and an underdeveloped ear..
so?
I painted out the nose
and focused on making a genuine and beautiful ear.
so where is it?
it's not finished yet.
(I had to leave early to fetch my son.)
it's still at margie's house.
I'll show it to you on thursday.
why thursday?
I consult there every thurs. so will collect my painting
at the same time.
I'm going now to go play with another artist friend.
If she lets me near her paint brushes I'll paint another ear!

so much approval
