Lunatics

We have a favourite a picnic spot near here,
next to a wier called 'Tony's gumpi'.
In summer I love going there for a free neck massage from mother nature
and to blast the cobwebs out of my brain with the roar of
falling water.
Today Jules and I tried to climb behind the secret veils of the waterfall
which was roaring a wild excited roar of melted blue ice and the heady feeling of
far too much power and no-one to play with.
Eventually we could resist no more and said, 'Yes! We'll play with you.'
It was our very first dip of the season. And it felt like being resurrected from the dead
after an endless winter.
Perhaps insanity is genetically passed on after all.
Everyone lese thought we were lunatics. Except one brave dog who joined us.
Did you know that dog = god spelt backwards?
God swam off with our ball
then brought it back
tail flicking diamonds to the sun
and our ball has tooth marks to prove it.
